Description
It’s the night before Christmas, and although you don’t know it, deep underground I am burrowing along through the soil. I might be almost blind, but my sharp sense of smell can pick out worms and insects from a long way away. On a good day, I might cover as much as 20 metres, using my spade-like paws to shovel soil. Thanks for looking out for me this Christmas – thanks to you, and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, I’m looking forward to a wilder future.
